Stay like a local in this adorable apartment.  Modern yet cozy, the unit is spacious with great natural light. Offering a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and sunfilled private balcony with a private entrance!

Wi-Fi through load shedding for those wanting to work during their stay.

The unit is situated on the beachfront, in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The Empire building is a secure and well-maintained complex with 24/7 security.

The unit has its own entrance from the street, so it is easy to come and go.

There is no parking for the apartment but there are street bays that are usually open on the street directly in front of the unit.

The wifi is 20mbps up and down and it stays on when there is load shedding!
We do also offer an electric lantern for load shedding.

Plus there is a record player for your use and a few cool records to listen to.

The apartment is situated in a prime location for those wanting to explore Muizenberg. Muizenberg is arguably one of the best beaches in Cape Town. It is the ultimate summer destination. With its shallow warm waters and family-friendly activities such as surfing, swimming, a jungle jim, and a multitude of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors, and surf stores. It is a full day's worth of adventure and exploring. Never mind the scenic walk to St James beach and Kalk Bay which has its own exciting treasures waiting to be explored.

Whether you’re starting your day with a coffee from Starbucks or ending your day at Hudson’s overlooking the beachfront with a local craft beer. You won’t find a better base for your stay. 

We will leave you with a detailed list of all the eateries in the area. The town of Muizenberg is bursting with bohemian charm and an exciting array of restaurants, bakeries, and bars that you won’t want to miss sampling.

WHAT TO DO IN THE AREA

Whale season is always exciting starting in June - November with September being the peak season. The bay is usually very active with sea life.

A stop in at Simons Town, Boulder's Beach to visit the Penguins and pick up a souvenir. Who doesn't like to see a little bird wearing a tuxedo? They are such entertaining little creatures!

A trip to Cape Point for an unforgettable experience at the tip of Africa.

The Ostrich farm on the way to Cape Point and a stop-in at the Scone Shack is a must-visit for our recommendations. This enticing little excursion is on the same stretch of road as the Ostrich farm.

Imhoff Farmstead offers animal encounters, horseback beach rides, shops, and restaurants.

Noordhoek Farm Village for great restaurants, gift shops, and on occasion- live music

Local markets in the area: Earthfair Market, Heritage market, Blue Bird Garage (Thursday and Friday only), Cape Point Vineyards (Thursday only)

Kalk Bay Theatre for dinner and a show that will blow you away.

Spend the day exploring Kalk Bay, the exciting little alleyways, storing all sorts of antique shops and trinket stores. Many delicious and enticing restaurants to pick from and so much more to expereince.
